Giving Back to the Community That Supports Us
At RoadTrip Dispensary, community support isn’t just a value, it’s a responsibility. This August, we’re proud to partner with The Pettengill House, a local nonprofit making a big impact across northeastern Massachusetts.
For more than two decades, The Pettengill House has been a safety net for thousands of families, offering essential services like food, housing assistance, case management, mental health support, and more, all free of charge.
Did you know?
In 2023 alone, The Pettengill House helped over 3,000 individuals and more than 1,100 families in 11 nearby towns, including Salisbury, Amesbury, Newburyport, and Newbury.
Their reach is broad, and their services are life-changing. From feeding families and preventing homelessness to supporting vulnerable students and connecting seniors with vital resources, their work strengthens our communities in powerful ways.
How You Can Help
During the month of August, we’ve made it easy to give back right here at our Salisbury MA dispensary through this donation drive. Stop by RoadTrip during these hours to find donation materials and info tables:
- Fridays from 5:00 to 6:00 PM
- Saturdays and Sundays from 2:00 to 3:00 PM
Our friendly staff will be available to accept donations, answer your questions, and share more about The Pettengill House’s mission.
Every dollar donated will be matched by RoadTrip so your generosity goes twice as far.

Why This Matters
In Massachusetts, 1 in 12 residents faces hunger, including more than 1 in 10 children, according to Feeding America. The Pettengill House sees the effects of this crisis daily; especially as housing prices rise and social support systems are stretched thin.
